Heritage Mews enjoys an ideal location for a holiday cottage in Stratford-upon-Avon. In a peaceful no-through road in Stratford-upon-Avon's Old Town, it is close to Holy Trinity Church and the River Avon and within ten minutes' walk of the town centre amenities and famous sites, including the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, historic Shakespeare Houses, riverside parks and an excellent choice of restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops.

There are food shops within easy walking distance from Heritage Mews. Bull Street shop, attached to our local pub, The New Bulls Head (formerly The West End), is 2 or 3 minutes' walk; open 8am to 11pm it sells fresh bread, milk, eggs, fruit, vegetabes and household products. In the town centre there is a Marks & Spencer Food Hall in Bridge Street, a small Sainsbury's supermarket (opposite M&S), a butcher and specialist cheese shop. There are several large supermarkets with parking within a few minutes' drive: Waitrose on the A3400 Shipston Road, south of the town centre on the junction / roundabout with Seven Meadows Raod (CV37 8LU); Morrisons on the A422 Alcester Road, just past the railway station (CV37 9DA); and Tesco, open 24/7, in the Maybird Centre on the Birmingham Road north of the town centre (CV37 0UA). Ocado and Tesco deliver to New Street.

There are excellent road and rail links to Stratford-upon-Avon and Birmingham International Airport is about 40 minutes drive.

How to get there
By road - Stratford-upon-Avon is 6 miles (10km) from the M40, Junction 15.

By air - Birmingham International Airport is 29 miles (46 km) - about 40 minutes drive.  Car hire and taxis are available at the airport. Or we can arrange a private hire taxi to 'meet and greet' you at airport arrivals and take you to Heritage Mews. Just let us know and we can obtain a quotation for you - you pay the taxi driver direct.
By train - Stratford railway station is ¾ mile (1.2 km) from Heritage Mews.  Taxis are usually waiting at the station, or it is about a 20 minute walk to Heritage Mews. There is a direct train service between London Marylebone and Stratford-upon-Avon; journey time is about 2 hours.
By coach - Riverside Bus Station is in the town centre, a few minutes by taxi from Heritage Mews.
