The Royal Shakespeare Theatre is just a ten minute stroll from Heritage Mews. The theatre is open seven days a week and there are interesting Theatre Tours and a 36 metre high Theatre Tower providing spectacular views of the River Avon and Shakespeare's home town. See acrobatic theatre at Shakespeare’s New Place from 11 to 15 December. Enjoy Hathaway’s Christmas at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, from 6 December to 6 January, with traditional festive table displays from the Elizabethan to Victorian eras when the Hathaway family lived at the cottage. At Shakespeare’s Birthplace, hear traditional Tudor music on 15 & 16 December, and enjoy Tudor Twelfth Night Celebrations on 5 & 6 January.
